Bethlehem, Pa., March 8, 2016—Moravian Theological Seminary has just announced a new scholarship to benefit Moravian College alumni who are interested in pursuing graduate level education. Beginning in the Fall 2016 semester, the $2,000 scholarship will be offered annually to up to five qualified recipients.

“From its earliest foundations, Moravian College has balanced the study of the liberal arts with the preparation for a meaningful career,” said Bryon L. Grigsby ’90, president of Moravian College and Moravian Theological Seminary. “ This scholarship continues that tradition by assisting students who want to move seamlessly from undergraduate education to their first professional degree at Moravian.”

The Greyhound Loyalty Scholarship will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those who have completed an undergraduate degree from Moravian College and have been accepted and enrolled in one of the master’s degree programs at MTS. Any Moravian College bachelor’s degree qualifies for consideration, regardless of one’s major or date of graduation. The Scholarship will be distributed across four semesters, and the recipients must be enrolled for at least six credits, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, in order for the award to be made in that particular semester. This Scholarship is awarded in addition to any needs-based aid for which the student may qualify.

Moravian College alumni who are interested in learning more about the scholarship or programs offered at Moravian Theological Seminary should contact David DeRemer, Director of Enrollment, at deremerd@moravian.edu or 610.861.1516
