What is your role at the University and what is something many may not know about the work you do?
I am a nursing instructor and simulation lab coordinator. I love teaching nursing students using simulation. I strive to make the simulated experience as real as possible for students. Practicing in a safe environment is crucial for improving learning outcomes of students and for the potential safety of our patients.

My favorite spot on campus is anywhere in the new health science building because it is so great!

My favorite College tradition is vespers because Christmas is my favorite holiday and the music reminds me of the beauty of the season.

My favorite thing to do when I am away from campus is to spend time with my family. I don't get much time during the week to spend with them.

The best advice I have ever received was do not give up on your dreams!
What sound do you love? Why?
I love the sound of birds singing outside. It lets me know that spring is on the way and winter will soon be over.
What is your favorite ice cream? Why?
Chocolate ice cream is my favorite! It has been my favorite since I was little.

What makes you happy?
My son makes me happy, and also working in the simulation lab.
