Career & Civic Engagement

Summer Internship

Encourage your student to consider an internship this summer! Internships provide a valuable opportunity to build skills and gain the experience employers and graduate schools are seeking. Internships can be paid, unpaid and/or offered for academic credit. The Center for Career and Civic Engagement works with students individually to search and prepare for experiences that best meet their needs.

The Center also provides additional resources including:

  • Handshake, Moravian College’s online opportunity posting system offering hundreds of opportunities from local and national employers
  • In-person assistance such as one-on-one appointments, resume and cover letter reviews and mock interviews
  • On-campus career fairs including the Job & Internship Fair (March 25th)
  • Online and print resources including resume and cover letter guides, internship guides, career preparation videos and Big Interview (the Center’s online interview preparation tool)
