Alumni Association

Staying Connected for Life

To continuously build and strengthen the Moravian University alumni community based on values that are deeply rooted in Moravian's heritage and tradition and to perpetuate the spirit of Moravian for future generations.

We foster a meaningful lifelong relationship between our alumni and Moravian by serving as a bridge between the University and its alumni.

  1. To foster meaningful engagement of alumni in order to enhance Moravian's life long learning environment and promote the development of its students and alumni.
  2. To create and implement programs that build pride and loyalty among Moravian alumni.
  3. Support Moravian’s vision to be recognized as an exemplar of higher education by supporting Moravian’s continuous efforts to prepare men and women for advanced study and continuous learning, individual achievement, and leadership and service for the common good.

What do you love most about Moravian?
The tight knit community that never goes away. It was my favorite thing during my time in school and still is! Hounds are family for life.

Why do you serve on the Executive Committee for the Alumni Association Board of Directors?
I knew I wanted to give back to the place that gave so much to me, but am not yet in a place where I can do that financially. This is a way for me to get involved, be a cheerleader for the school, help keep the alumni network strong, and provide opportunities for current students by just volunteering my time. I've met great people and made strong connections while serving on the Alumni Association board and it's made me feel more tied to the community.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy traveling and am newly obsessed with my Peloton workouts!

What do you love most about Moravian?
As a single mom I spent most of my time with my two small kids when I decided to complete my degree. I was amazed how much of a family it felt at Moravian. So much so that my kids could not wait till their next event. We loved the atmosphere and vibe of everyone at Moravian.

Why do you serve on the Executive Committee for the Alumni Association Board of Directors?
I volunteered for years at Moravian and was always looking for ways I could help or give back to my Moravian community. About a year ago I felt like I wanted to do more so I joined the Alumni Association and now that's transitioned into the Executive Committee. It feels great to give back to the college.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
These days my kids are older and I just recently became a grandmother. I spend a lot of my time with my granddaughter as well as reading history books and DIY's. I enjoy being able to say I did certain projects around the house. I also love art so if I can find the time, I'll work on some art (painting, sketching and cross stitch) and baking.

What do you love most about Moravian?
I love the community that continues well past your 4 years in campus. Alumni are always willing to lend a hand, provide career guidance, and talk about their time at Moravian.

Why do you serve on the Executive Committee for the Alumni Association Board of Directors?
I serve on the Executive Committee because Moravian has given me so much, and this is a way for me to give back. I also enjoy being a part of the continuous improvements of the University.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with family & friends and wine tasting my way around the Valley.

What do you love most about Moravian?

The thing I love most about Moravian is the way the community comes together to support the community. As a student, everyone always supported on another shared strong bonds. As an alumni, I see this in our students, faculty, and staff. It truly is an amazing thing to see this community grow and maintain its commitment to the Moravian way!

Why do you serve on the Executive Committee for the Alumni Association Board of Directors?

As an alum, I feel it is important that we give back to the community that gave us so much during our time at school. Serving as an executive board member is just one of the many ways we can give back. I want to help ensure that Moravian students transition to alumni and share that sense of responsibility and care. Through programs such as the Alumni Association Board we can support current students, maintain time honored traditions, and enjoy the best that Moravian has to offer!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family. I love exploring downtown Bethlehem and the surrounding Lehigh Valley at our great restaurants, breweries, and entertainment. My favorite thing is going to Vespers and the holiday celebrations at the school!
