2024
In January 2024 Alexandra Borden was elected the new Executive Director for the Alliance for Women Film Composers (AWFC), a non-profit organization focused on advocacy and visibility for women in the composing industry. She was also elected to the Board of Directors for the Female Composer Safety League (FCSL), a non-profit that provides a safe, trauma-informed, supportive community for female-identifying and nonbinary survivors of harassment and sexual assault in the composing industry. In March, Alexandra was announced as a mentor with the 2024 ScreenCraft Works Cross-Border Mentoring Scheme, a volunteer community-building initiative that pairs under-represented film production and post-production talent with international mentors.
Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli & Tipton, of Easton, Pennsylvania, is proud to announce that Ruby Khallouf has been promoted to become our newest Partner. Khallouf joined the Firm in 2018 as an Associate.
Ruby Khallouf is a Partner at our Easton office concentrating her practice in litigation. She has extensive experience in employment, transportation and family law. Khallouf’s broad litigation practice allows her to provide practical and effective advice to clients. She routinely appears in NJ and PA state and federal courts.
In the area of employment litigation, Khallouf has defended employers against claims of wage and hour violations, discrimination, wrongful discharge and retaliation under both Federal and State law. She also has experience providing employment advice to public entities.
In the public transportation industry, Khallouf has significant experience handling Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”) claims, including allegations of unsafe work conditions, inadequate safety measures and operational negligence. She also has considerable experience defending bus and rail tort claims for injuries and related damages allegedly sustained as a result of negligent operation and maintenance of bus or rail services.

Amanda Werner Maenza ’13, G’17, Executive Director of Alumni & Family Engagement, and her husband, Chris, welcomed their first daughter, Doreen, in November 2022.
Carissa Serino published another anthology on Amazon! Shattered: Stories of Lives Broken by Substance Abuse and How We Put the Pieces Back Together is a compilation of personal stories revolving around substance abuse and how this disease has impacted our lives. Katelyn Slivka (Weiss) and her husband Paul Slivka welcomed their first child, Jameson Paul, on September 22, 2022. Jameson was 7 pounds 15 ounces and 21 inches long.
CJ Billera- Hounds - Happy to share he was recently promoted to Commercial Sales Manager at Lutron. he recently celebrated his ten-year service award with the company and is based in Dallas, TX - home of the America's Team! He played football at Moravian and keeps in touch with several teammates. Last, but certainly not least, He recently got engaged to his fiancé Allexus who is from Louisiana and her new favorite food is pierogis!
Alexandra Borden composed the original music score for the award-winning feature film BALLOON ANIMAL is now available across all streaming platforms. The film was released on Amazon, Vudu, and VOD on April 7th, 2023. Alexa created the score with longtime composing partner, Connor Cook. The scores for their recent short films (Love Song, Worst Enemy, Mourning Sick, and Well-Rounded) will be available later in 2023.

Kaitlin Beltz recently purchased a small local children's and maternity clothing consignment business serving the Lehigh Valley area.
Kyle Stackhouse and his wife, Beth welcomed a daughter, Sophie Ann, on August 25th, 2021.
Phillip Torres and Kate Gill '15 got engaged on March 29, 2021.
Hilary Reis Weinert ’14 and Michael Weinert '13 welcomed a daughter, Ayla Catherine, on June 24, 2021. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21 inches long. Ayla joins her big sister, Addie.
On June 1st 2021, Kyle Stackhouse accepted a newly-created position as a Customer Service Support Coordinator with Brenntag Specialties, based in South Plainfield, NJ. He oversees 7 warehouses in 6 states his primary duties are order allocations, domestic and international shipments, and other logistics coordination within the chemical distribution industry. Kyle also is tasked with the management of regulatory documents, and inventory supervision amongst account orders.
Michael O'Gorman recently accepted the Dean's Fellowship at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. He was also named a Consortium Fellow at Ross for his personal and professional dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and racial justice. Michael will leave his role at New York City Department of Education this summer and begin the full-time MBA program in Ann Arbor this fall.
Sarah Farrell Johnson is the author of the book, Mama, Your Worth is Not Measured in Ounces.
Alexandra Borden lives and works as a film composer in Los Angeles. Her most recent feature film, Blush, and most recent award-winning short films, Limerence, The Blue Cave, and She Had It Coming, are currently in the festival circuit. She has assisted film composer Germaine Franco on such films as Little, Someone Great, and Life-Size 2. As of summer 2021, Alexa has composed and performed original music for almost 40 productions, including short films, feature films, and live staged musicals. Prior to the pandemic, she also frequently performed around LA as a member of the contemporary folk duo, LexaCon.
2020
Christopher See passed away on November 3, 2020.
Brittany Garzillo is headed for Fox 32 as a reporter. She has been a traffic anchor and reporter for WGAL, the NBC affiliate in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, since 2018. She previously worked for WLVT, the PBS station in Bethlehem.
2019
Kayla Smull married Matt Groth on September 14, 2019 at Kings Mills in Media, PA. Maggie Callahan '14 was a maid of honor. Also in attendance was Gabby Breithaupt Berman, Anna D'Achille '10, Ari D'Achille '14, Kacie Lukasik, Gianna Miranda, Jenn Leedom O'Neill '14, Addison Rymar, Jasmine Thomas, and Phil Wallens.
Genesis Ortega was named Hispanic Businessperson of the Year during the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Awards.
