2008 Emerging Leader Award

Kevin R. Bush '02

The Emerging Leader Award is presented to an alumnus or alumna who graduated within the last 10 years for his or her dedicated service and leadership to Moravian College. The Alumni Association gratefully acknowledges the contributions of Kevin R. Bush and Scott A. Heydt for their exemplary service to Moravian with its 2008 Emerging Leader Award.

Kevin R. Bush ’02 of East Stroudsburg, Pa., is presented as an Emerging Leader Award recipient. He received his B.A. in social science education from Moravian and this past year completed his M. Ed. in Curriculum Design and Instruction at his alma mater. A social studies teacher and head track and field coach at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, he has been an active member of the Moravian community since graduation. He is a member of the Alumni Board of Directors, has organized and chaired the Alumni Weekend 5K races, and volunteered at Homecoming Weekend.
