2009 Young Alumni Achievement Award
Lisa Hahn Egan ’00, Ph.D.
The Young Alumni Achievement Award is presented to an alumna or alumnus who has achieved exceptional success in his or her profession and who has graduated within the past two to ten years. In recognition of her work in the field of clinical neuropsychology, the Alumni Association is honored to recognize Lisa G. Hahn with the 2009 Young Alumni Award.
Lisa Hahn Egan ’00 graduated magna cum laude from Moravian with a degree in clinical counseling psychology. She chose Drexel University to earn her master’s, and completed her Ph.D. in neuropsychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Following a clinical internship at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center she entered a postdoctoral fellowship program at Yale University’s Department of Neurosurgery, studying with several prestigious neuropsychologists. While there she assisted in identifying the focal onset of seizures. She also gained experience in the identification of children in need of neuropsychological assessments who had a previous diagnosis of cancer. Lisa maintains a private practice in Madison, New Jersey, while pursuing her board certification in clinical neuropsychology. She is committed to helping children with psychological problems and assists a young boy with special needs. She met her husband, Alexander W. Egan ’01, while both were students at Moravian. They reside in Newton, New Jersey. They are expecting their first child in late October.
