2013 Emerging Leader Award

Dylan S. Stroup '10

The Emerging Leader Award is presented to an alumna or alumnus who graduated within the last ten years, for his or her leadership and dedicated service to Moravian College. The Moravian College Alumni Association gratefully acknowledges Dylan S. Stroup '10 as its 2013 Emerging Leader Award recipient for his outstanding service and dedicated leadership to Moravian College.

Following graduation in 2010, Dylan Stroup has worked as a financial advisor with AXA Advisors, LLC and made it a priority to stay involved with Moravian. Dylan’s interest in Moravian spans several areas of campus life and reflects his desire to give back to the College.

While Dylan was a student at Moravian, he served as the Philanthropic Chair of Omicron Gamma Omega (OGO), participated in the marching band, and studied financial economics. 

He has continued his service with his fraternity as the Fundraising Chair for the OGO Alumni Association.  He is also a member of the Moravian Leadership Council, a group of alumni that advises the College on institutional matters. 

Dylan is also passionate about supporting the career development of Moravian students.  Seeing the value in Alumni-Student connections, he has provided numerous Moravian students with internships and opportunities to gain real world experience in the field of financial advising. Dylan also often participates in Career Center and alumni events on campus.

In addition to his involvement with Moravian, Dylan is President of the Alumni Association of The Marvelwood School in Kent, Connecticut and serves on the Board of Directors of Kenyan Healthcare Initiatives, Inc. Dylan originally is from Orange, Connecticut and now lives in Bethlehem, PA.
