Greyhound Tutoring Program

Moravian College offers tutoring on an individual and drop-in basis for a wide variety of courses. Tutors help students understand course content as well as refine their academic skills and study strategies. Tutoring benefits not only students who are struggling in a course, but also students who are excelling. More information about the Greyhound tutoring program can be found online. Students can also schedule appointments online.

Residence Hall Openings & Closings

  • Students remaining on campus over breaks must register online by the Monday before the start of the break/closing.
  • Unregistered students may be subject to Student Conduct and/or fees.
  • Residents with extenuating circumstances who anticipate needing housing during college closures (i.e. winter break) are highly encouraged to live in the HILL. If a resident elects not to live in the HILL, we may not be able to accommodate their request.

Missing your Greyhound? Are they having their birthday away from home? Send a sweet reminder that you care! Order a fresh, custom-made cake, cupcakes or cookies for your hound from Moravian Dining’s bake shop! Shop online here. We’ll notify your student that they have a gift, and it will be available for pickup in The Star Campus Restaurant. Please provide us with two days notice for your package to be created.

Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15th- October 15th

Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) is a national celebration to honor the contributions Hispanic and Latinx Americans have made to our society. This year’s events will highlight the diverse stories, contributions and histories of the Latinx Community. Observation of Hispanic Heritage Month is key to our commitment to recognize and honor all members of our Moravian community.

Intramural Sports

Moravian College intramural sports program provides competition among members of campus organizations, residence halls, and student groups. Intramurals consists of league in sports such as flag football, sand volleyball, indoor soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and ultimate frisbee. To see a current list of offerings check out Moravian Intramurals at IMLeagues.com. Teams can be formed from any group of full-time students, faculty and/or staff or sign up as an individual and you can be placed on a team. If you have an interest in a sport or that is not listed or an idea for an intramural offering please reach out to intramuralsports@moravian.edu.

Title IX and Sexual Violence in College

College students are at an elevated risk for experiencing unwanted sexual contact, especially during the first six weeks of the fall semester, called the Red Zone. Statistics show that 1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men experience sexual assault at some point during their time in college, and that the LGBTQ+ population is at even higher risk. On our campus, we know that sexual violence happens most between students who know (or know of) each other, occurs in a residential setting, and involves use of alcohol by one or both parties. While it may not be an easy conversation, talking candidly with your student about healthy relationships, consent, and alcohol can be critical.

Volunteer and Internship Fair

Several non-profit and community partners will be on campus to meet with students about volunteering and internships. Every major and year of study is encouraged to attend; there will be opportunities for everyone!

Winter, Spring and Summer 2019 Course Registration

AMOS online registration will open the week of October 29th by earned units/credits for students wishing to register for winter, spring and/or summer 2019 courses. Students will login to AMOS, go to the College Student Tab and then the Online Registration/Schedule sub-tab on their assigned day. Advisor Registration Clearance, on AMOS, is required for online registration to officially open/activate for the student. If you have any additional questions or if we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact the Registrar's Office at any time!

Moravian College Christmas Vespers 2018

You and your students are invited to attend one of the six annual Christmas Vespers Services. This occasion provides an opportunity for you to share in the beautiful candlelight ceremony that is distinctive of the Moravian tradition. Music by our students combines with the beauty of the Liturgy in this service of worship for the College community and friends.
