Alexis Coleman ’27

Moravian Activities Council Public Relations Director

“The MAC office will make an impact on my daily routine with planning and hosting events as a MAC member. It will be different than before, but I am very fortunate to have this experience with the new HUB, and I can’t wait to see what it brings for me.”

Excited to Get Started

When Alexis Coleman ’27 first arrived on campus, the communications major and graphic design minor wanted to be part of something larger than herself. She discovered the Moravian Activities Council (MAC) at the club fair and quickly realized the organization would shape her Moravian experience.

After about a year in MAC, she took on the leadership role of public relations director to help generate fresh ideas and elevate MAC’s outreach. Her regular work includes coordinating large events and promoting the council’s work across campus. She says she has learned a great deal in managing budgets and problem solving.

MAC is one of the student organizations that will be moving into the new HUB in the coming months and will have a designated office. According to Alexis, MAC events previously held in classrooms will now be able to be hosted in the HUB’s event spaces, allowing them to expand and take advantage of state-of-the-art technology and resources.

“I have been very excited for a new HUB since it was announced, and seeing it grow every day makes me even more excited as construction wraps up,” Alexis says. “The MAC office will make an impact on my daily routine with planning and hosting events as a MAC member. It will be different than before, but I am very fortunate to have this experience with the new HUB, and I can’t wait to see what it brings for me.”

Alexis says the new student center represents a fresh start—a place where MAC’s impact can grow even stronger.
