Why is Moravian important to you?
Moravian gave me a solid foundation in my history major and an opportunity to be involved in a variety of campus activities, which included leadership positions in the student council and my fraternity. Also, because I received a 50% tuition scholarship for the four years, I felt I was making a significant contribution to the overall cost of attending college so that my parents did not have to bear the entire burden. —Jim

We initially had included a bequeathment to Moravian in our wills, but then it was brought to our attention we could pursue the alternative of a legacy-giving vehicle, which was a better win-win. We could give a greater amount, which Moravian could lock in on and would give us income during the interim.
What is the most important work that Moravian does?
Moravian provides a quality education and life experience so students can make a positive contribution to society after graduation, as well as achieve their own personal goals.
What would you say to other supporters interested in exploring non-traditional ways to support students at Moravian?
We would say investigate all alternatives and seek advice from financial experts who can explain the details of each alternative, which seems attractive to your particular situation.
When you give back to Moravian, where do you choose to direct your support and why?
We elected to have our gift directed to general purposes so that the university can determine the most productive manner to utilize the funds.
