Following His Dreams
For Amari Anaya ’27, a music performance major, his Moravian experience has been a stage where he’s discovered his voice, his rhythm, and his purpose. “My favorite part of being a Moravian student is how I’m able to immerse myself in my art,” he says. “Being able to pursue so many different avenues of music is very important to me.”
From day one, Amari has taken advantage of opportunities Moravian’s vibrant music program offers. He holds multiple leadership positions in Moravian’s music fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, performs in various choirs and ensembles, and is a drum major in the marching band.
“My favorite part of being a Moravian student is how I’m able to immerse myself in my art. Being able to pursue so many different avenues of music is very important to me,” Amari says.
Moravian has been the place where passion meets opportunity for Amari. With every performance and rehearsal, he’s shaping a future defined by music, service, and self-expression.
“Being part of organizations that allow me to follow my passion is a dream come true,” he says.
