There are moments in the life of an institution when we pause to celebrate what we have accomplished. For Moravian University, this is one of those moments.
Through Lighting the Way: The Campaign for Moravian University, our community achieved an extraordinary milestone. Together, we surpassed our campaign goal of $75 million two years early and went on to achieve more than $102 million in philanthropic support for our students, our campus, and our future.
But the true measure of this campaign is not a dollar amount—it is the impact those gifts will have on generations to come. Because of you, more students will have access to a Moravian education. They will discover new passions, pursue meaningful opportunities, receive the support they need to thrive, and graduate prepared to lead reflective lives of purpose and leadership. Your generosity has strengthened the places where our community gathers to learn, connect, and grow, particularly the transformational Haupert Union Building.
Most importantly, this campaign demonstrated just how deeply our community believes in Moravian’s future, and that confidence gives us momentum as we look ahead. We will continue to honor the traditions that have defined Moravian for 285 years, embrace new opportunities to prepare our students for a rapidly changing world, and invest in life-changing scholarships, innovative academic programs, meaningful student experiences, and a campus community where every student can flourish.
To every alum, family member, trustee, faculty and staff member, and friend who helped make Lighting the Way possible: thank you. Every gift and every minute of service helped us achieve our goal—you played a part in this remarkable achievement.
