Profile
Describe your Moravian connection and a meaningful moment you experienced.
As a student, I was able to explore several majors before learning about a career in public accounting from two visiting fraternity alums. This enabled me to focus my attention on what would become my career in public accounting and healthcare consulting.
Why is Moravian important to you?
It prepared me academically and socially for future education, employment, and leadership. The scholarships I received enabled me to start my college academic and life journey.
What type of legacy do you hope to leave at Moravian? How would you like to be remembered?
Have current students, staff, and alumni learn from my experience and values and be remembered as someone who gave back to Moravian.
What motivates you to stay involved at Moravian?
To help the university and students grow and achieve their goals and to inspire others to get involved.
What is the most important work that Moravian does?
Giving a diverse group of people the opportunity to advance academically and on a personal and social level.
Why do you volunteer/donate?
To help enable students to fund their education and to support meaningful internship opportunities for students, which can help position them for future careers.
When you give back to Moravian, where do you choose to direct your support and why?
I choose to support academic scholarships and internships through annual giving and an endowment. I recently started to provide internship stipends to enable students to reduce their part-time work and take on unpaid internships, which are essential for transition to full-time employment.
