How did your Moravian experience prepare you for your career?
I could not have asked for a better undergraduate experience. I had exceptional professors who molded me into the NP that I am today. A major reason I chose Moravian when I was comparing undergraduate programs was the number of clinical hours and the ability to start clinical as a sophomore. I don't think there's a better way to be prepared to enter your career than hands-on experience. I loved how the nursing department was a small community, and I always had professors and other mentors at my disposal to answer questions or concerns. My professors were invested in my development not only as a student but also as a person.
Share a memorable Moravian moment from when you were a student.
I experienced a personal hardship during my last few months at Moravian. The outpouring of support and guidance I received from my professors, classmates, and community is one of my lasting memories of college at Moravian. A number of connections and friendships that I formed at Moravian will last a lifetime. I think this experience speaks volumes on how Moravian is truly a special college (now University) with a close-knit community.
