ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Graduate AI Certificate (Credit-Bearing)

Applicants seeking admission to the credit-bearing Graduate AI for Business Certificate must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college or university, or international equivalent
Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
Current resume

Students admitted to the Graduate AI for Business Certificate earn graduate academic credit. Courses completed as part of the certificate may be applied toward an applicable graduate degree, including the MBA and MBA AI concentration, in accordance with university policy.

AI for Business Certificate (Non-Credit Bearing)

Applicants who do not hold a bachelor’s degree may enroll in the AI for Business Certificate on a non-credit basis and must meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience
Resume documenting relevant professional experience
Employer recommendation letter

Non-credit participants complete the same curriculum and course requirements as students enrolled in the credit-bearing certificate but do not earn graduate or undergraduate academic credit at the time of enrollment or certificate completion.

A non-credit participant who later applies to and is admitted to an applicable Moravian University bachelor’s degree program within SPSI will have the learning completed through the AI for Business Certificate evaluated through the University’s Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) process. Approved PLA credit will be applied toward the bachelor’s degree in accordance with university policy.

Do I need a technical background?

No. The certificate is built for professionals in any discipline — operations, finance, HR, marketing, and beyond. No coding and no technical prerequisites.

How do the credits work with the MBA?

What are the expectations for synchronous live sessions??

For the safety of students and others, participation in synchronous classes, meetings, or other live program activities is not permitted while driving, operating machinery, or engaging in any activity that requires full attention. Students are expected to join live sessions from a safe location. If a student is unable to participate safely at the scheduled time, the student should notify the instructor or appropriate program contact as soon as possible to discuss options.
