Curriculum Overview

Moravian University’s 120-credit Aviation Management program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, offering students opportunities to engage directly with regional airports, airlines, and aviation service providers.

Rachel Hall

Director of Aviation Programs

Rachel L. Hall, M.S. (Aviation Safety) | Gold Seal CFI

Rachel Hall brings a multidisciplinary background spanning aviation, instruction, and healthcare. She previously supported the launch of Moravian University’s aviation program through enrollment, operations, and program design, and is an active corporate pilot flying Falcon 900EX, Falcon 50EX, and King Air 350 aircraft. A Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor and Advanced Ground Instructor, she has a strong record of student success across Part 141 training. Hall holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics (Aviation Safety) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation from Liberty University, along with additional degrees in nursing, social work, and psychology. Her earlier career as a nurse continues to inform her focus on safety, human factors, fatigue risk, and decision-making, shaping her commitment to advancing aviation education through safety, operational excellence, and real-world relevance.

Moravian University Appoints Global Industry Leaders to Inaugural Aviation Advisory Committee

This body of industry professionals, safety experts, and distinguished alumni will provide strategic oversight to ensure the curriculum meets the rigorous demands of the modern aerospace sector.

141 Flight School Certification

Moravian University is in the process of obtaining a 141 flight school certification that will allow the institution to pursue the R-ATP certification and offer the restricted airline transport pilot certification to offer a letter of authorization.
