It begins with community — wherever you are!

Moravian University School of Theology offers a hybrid learning model combining in-person formation with remote education. Most students study part-time while working, and courses are hosted across both our Bethlehem and Lancaster campuses.

Not able to make it to the classroom?  You can also participate online from wherever you are.

Our hybrid approach strengthens community rather than diminishing it. When students gather in person, formation happens around campus as much as in the online classroom.

Coffee and conversation aren’t just breaks — they’re where theological insight meets lived experience and community becomes family. Between classes, connections grow through online coursework and virtual gatherings.

Your theological education is just the beginning. True transformation happens through genuine relationships. We are a community of care, and you will be known here.

Here, you’ll find diversity of thoughts, cultures, and creeds. Our students come from different backgrounds, united in a revolutionary vision of community. With about 100 students and 13 faculty members, we’re large enough for diverse voices and small enough for genuine relationships to flourish — whether learning in person or online.

The friendships formed here last far beyond graduation.
