Veteran Undergraduate Admissions

Moravian University welcomes all veterans and military-connected students. Our personalized programs, commuter-friendly campus, and commitment to veteran resources are just a few of the reasons student veterans choose to attend America’s sixth-oldest college.

Thank you for your service!

Application Process

Moravian University takes a holistic approach to application evaluation and will consider your full academic career as well as personal and professional achievements. Whether you’re applying as a first-year freshman (no college credits yet) or a transfer student (you have a few credits under your belt), you can use our Moravian University Undergraduate Application. There is no application fee and our admissions counselors are always available to answer any questions you may have.

Moravian University also accepts the Common Application.

Military Transcripts

Your military transcripts are required to apply to Moravian University. If you are an active duty, reservist, or veteran of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard, you can order your transcripts.

Using Your Benefits

Moravian University is proud to be a partner institution with the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, an initiative designed to help people who have served in the military in the post-9/11-era, or their dependents, attend the college of their choice.

People who have served in the military who are entitled to the maximum benefit rate (based on service requirements) or their designated transferees may receive this funding. Based on the Department of VA rules, active duty service members and their spouses are not eligible for this program; however, child transferees of active duty service members may be eligible if the service member is qualified at the 100% rate.
