Bienvenue, Juliette Garcia, Fulbright Scholar

Moravian College is thrilled to host Fulbrighter and native Parisienne Juliette Garcia, who comes to us from l’Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, where she is pursuing her master’s degree. As an undergraduate, Garcia studied English language, literature, culture, and history encompassing the entire English-speaking world.

Garcia is excited to join the Department of Modern Languages as a teaching assistant, where she will educate students about French culture and help them with their spoken French. She is also working to get the French Club back on its feet, and she leads a French Conversation Table every Monday, which welcomes faculty, staff, and students of every ability to come for a chat—en français.

The Fulbright Program is the world’s flagship international educational exchange program. “Above all, Fulbrighters exemplify the power of international academic exchange to transform lives, bridge geographic and cultural boundaries, and promote a more peaceful and prosperous world.” (Source: Council for International Exchange of Scholars video What Is the Fulbright Program?)
