Keynote Address

"The Moravian Center of Lancaster and the Friendly Neighborhood Hope Shop" with Rev. Dr. Mandy M. Mastros, LSW S’17, L’25

This keynote will explore the interconnected ministries of the Moravian Center of Lancaster and the personal outreach that extends from it. Hear how the congregation’s work is woven together with the Adult Day Center, the Islamic Community Center, and ministry within the prison system. The presentation will also touch on service as a part-time foster parent and the role of an unofficial pastor and chaplain to the unhoused and to those who serve them in Lancaster City. Together, these overlapping ministries illustrate a deep commitment to presence, partnership, and compassionate community.
