Angela Kilburg ’18 is an all-around artist: a graphic designer and marketing professional who excels in publication and digital design and who loves to dance.

All of her passion, creativity,
and talent came together in her honors thesis project, Le Studio, a dancewear line embedded with motion-capture technology that wirelessly sends movement and fitness data—heart rate, muscle temperature, endurance levels, and movement intensity—to an app.
Le Studio has been named a semifinalist in the 2018 Adobe Design Achievement Awards, with finalists to be announced in October.

As a sophomore, Kilburg took first place in the annual student design competition held by the Society of Publication Designers for her work on a magazine feature layout, “How to Build a Terrarium Like a Pro.” The award is one of the most prestigious honors bestowed on a college undergraduate.

Kilburg was recently hired by Alloy 5, an architecture and graphic design firm in Bethlehem, where she will work on the agency’s marketing materials and redesign of their website, among other client-based projects.
