
Faculty Bio: Rev. Dr. Darryl Stephens
Rev. Dr. Darryl W. Stephens holds a PhD in Ethics and Society from Emory University, a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rice University. He is an ordained deacon in The United Methodist Church and serves as chair of the Order of Deacons in the Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference of the UMC. His research and teaching interests address moral leadership in church and society, focusing on trauma-informed and liberatory practices. He has previously taught at Candler School of Theology, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and served in leadership in the Society of Christian Ethics and the Association of Leaders in Lifelong Learning for Ministry. He maintains the blog EthicsConsidered.
