On April 1 and 2, the Moravian Dance Company will perform it’s annual spring concert, which will include guest performances from Coral Nolan's Academy of Dance, In Motion Dance Company, LV Charter High School for the Arts, Repertory Dance Theatre and Tap Ties. This is Melissa Rowbottom’s first year as artistic director of the Company.solomon.jpg

Author Asali Solomon will be reading from her acclaimed debut novel Disgruntled, Tuesday March 22 at 4:15 in the Reeves Library Afterwards Café.

Women in Athletics week continues with the Girls’ Sports Clinic on Saturday, March 19 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at ARC. Girls in grades K-8 are invited to attend this free sports clinic hosted by Moravian University athletics. Participants will have the opportunity to learn skills directly from Moravian University student-athletes in various sports, including basketball, volleyball, field hockey, soccer, and tennis. Following the two-hour skills and drills session, participants are encouraged to join Moravian University student-athletes for lunch. 

Stop by the annual Moravian University Health Fair on March 23 from 10 am to 2 pm in the HUB. This event is open to the entire Moravian University community. There will be a variety of participants who will be educating and providing screenings free of charge. We will have free massages, a short seminar covering basic healthy eating and quick at-home physical activity options, opportunities to join a meditation circle and much more. The Africana Studies program and the Center for Intercultural Advancement and Global Inclusion would like to invite members of the college community to the talk “Journey for Justice,” featuring Esther Lee, president of the Bethlehem chapter of the NAACP on the evening of Tuesday, March 29, at 7:30 pm in the UBC Room of the HUB

Moravian University’s Parker Munson (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Pocono Mountain East HS) has been named the 2016 Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete for Men’s Indoor Track & Field.

Top Workplace Three Years in a Row!

Moravian University was named a 2016 Top Workplace in the Lehigh Valley by The Morning Call. The College was ranked 12th among mid-sized employers (125-499 employees) that were honored in this year’s survey. Last year, Moravian University was ranked 8th among mid-size employers, and in 2014, the University was ranked second in the large employer category, highlighting organizations with 500-plus employees.
