Music Department

The Moravian University Music Department is a vital and integral part of the educational and cultural environment of Moravian University and the Lehigh Valley. Want to be a music major? We offer top-notch, comprehensive and personalized degree programs in music integrated with liberal arts studies, so you'll never have to face the "what can you do with a degree in music?" question without an answer.

Want to double major? We offer an interdepartmental major designed to provide an appreciation and understanding of the creative process in music. Many of our ensembles, concerts, lectures, and more are open to faculty, staff, members of the community and students from any major.

Moravian University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.

Moravian University Music Institute

Moravian University offers private vocal and instrumental lessons through its Music Institute. To enroll in non-credit lessons, classes, workshops, or ensembles, community members register through the Music Institute each term.
