Moravian College's Winterfest a Family-friendly Celebration for the Campus Community

Bethlehem, Pa., January 29, 2016— Moravian College students, faculty and staff and their families will celebrate the winter season at “WinterFest,” on Saturday, January 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.Moravian's campus community building event will feature a variety of activities that includes creating handmade scarves, decorating cookies, along with a variety of other winter-themed crafts. Attendees will have the opportunity to go sleigh riding, watch ice sculptors carve masterpieces, while enjoying carnival games, music, an African Drum Circle, and great food. The action takes place in the Haupert Union Building, near the corner of Locust and Monocacy Streets.

Additionally, the popular movie “Frozen” will be featured from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Pavilion located in the Haupert Union Building.

“We are very excited to bring an event such as WinterFest to our campus again this year,” said Jon Conrad, chief human resource officer. “Moravian College is about community and this event is a great new way to bring the entire community together. I am looking forward to a great turn out from our campus community!”
