Something learned at Moravian: It is better to embrace challenging situations than to avoid them, as it will help me get out of my comfort zone and develop new skills.
Most rewarding since coming to Moravian: The academic, mental, and emotional development that results from being patient and keeping an open mind.
Favorite Moravian tradition: Fall Fest
Favorite thing to do when away from campus: I love going on walks or runs with my family.
Favorite book, film, song, or art: Saving Private Ryan – this movie emphasizes that we have to be courageous and uphold our values, even when it entails taking risks.
I can never resist a good____: hike– it's very refreshing to unplug and appreciate the beauty of nature.
Who inspires you: My parents. They sacrificed their careers so that I could have a future in the US. They inspire me to be successful so that I can reward them for their support.
What the scholarship means to me: This scholarship is very meaningful to me because it enables me to attend Moravian; it helps reduce the financial burden, allowing me to focus on my education.
"I am grateful to be a part of Moravian because having the support of giving alumni like yourselves embodies the University's tight-knit community. Thank you for believing in me and for investing in my future; I owe it to you to succeed in my studies and my career."
