Accelerated BSN Program Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program of study, it is expected that the graduate will:

1. Synthesize knowledge from the humanities, sciences, and nursing as the foundation for clinical decision making and providing evidence-based care to individuals, families, communities, and populations.
2. Provide person-centered nursing care to individuals, families, communities, and populations to foster optimal health and well-being across the lifespan.
3. Apply population health perspectives in advocating for and responding to the diverse health needs of individuals, families, communities, and populations.
4. Integrate scientific inquiry and best evidence to inform nursing practice, education, research, and policy.
5. Implement quality improvement principles in the provision of safe, cost-effective healthcare to promote a culture of safety.
