MoPaw

What is a MoPaw?
A MoPaw stands for many things. It’s Moravian University’s way of recognizing extraordinary individuals in our community. It’s a simple way to say “Thank you” to people who have had a positive influence on your life, in ways both big and small. A MoPaw is a symbol of the values that make our campus so special.
What does the MoPaw mean to you?
How do I give a MoPaw?
MoPaws are available at:
- USG Office (HUB 2nd floor)
- Loyd Desk (HUB 2nd floor)
- Student Life (HUB 3rd floor)
- Human Resources (Colonial 3rd floor)
- Lancaster (Library)
- Bahnson Center
- Wellness Center (HUB 1st floor)
- Provost’s Office (Monocacy Hall)
- Athletics (Johnston Hall)
- South Campus (TBA)
- West Campus (SMRC)
Once you have one, simply deliver it to your chosen recipient. You may want to write a brief message on your MoPaw to let the recipient know who it’s from—be creative!
What if I receive a MoPaw?
CELEBRATE! It means someone thinks highly of your deeds, actions, and/or character, and wants you to be recognized. During your time at Moravian University, you may receive multiple MoPaws. Display them with pride wherever you wish! And don’t forget to upload a picture of your achievement with the #MyMoPaw on social media.
We encourage you to celebrate your MoPaw, so that we can know how MoPaws are being used in our community!
