50th Anniversary Celebration of the Early Music Program
Since its founding in 1976 by Dr. Larry Lipkis, the Collegium Musicum has sparked a flourishing tradition of early music at Moravian. The Mostly Monteverdi Ensemble joined the stage in 1990, the Baroque Ensemble debuted in 2006, and by 2015 the wonderfully quirky WIRE—our Weird Instrument Renaissance Ensemble featuring krummhorns and gemshorns—rounded out the lineup.
Whether you participated in any of these groups for a single semester or for many years, you and your family are warmly invited to join us for a lively, music-filled afternoon as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Moravian’s Early Music Program.
