Class Audits

Alumni who wish to audit an undergraduate or seminary class are able to do so providing the class has open space and by following the below process. Auditing a class means that a person can regularly attend the class and participate but will not receive a grade or credit for the course.

Enrollment

To audit a class, please begin the enrollment process by complete this form. If you are interested in auditing an undergraduate class, please contact the Graduate & Continuing Studies Office at graduate@moravian.edu. If you are interested in auditing a Seminary class, please contact Rev. Dr. Diane Bogues at boguesd@moravian.edu. A member of the enrollment team is here to assist with any questions about the form or about finding a course of interest that is open and available for audit.

Tuition

Alumni may audit an undergraduate class for $100 per course and a seminary class for $300 per course.

Exceptions

The professor has the right to refuse anyone to audit his/her course. Students may not register to audit Independent Study, Internship, studio art, applied music and music ensembles, Writing 101, nursing clinical courses, or other courses that by their nature are inappropriate for auditors, as determined by the University. Auditing is available on a space-available basis only; that is, if the course is closed, auditors will not be accepted.

Academic Support and Mentorship After Your Degree Completion

Although you've completed your degree requirements and are now a graduate of Moravian University, that doesn't mean supporting you with advisement services has to end! In fact, we encourage you to take advantage of assistance from the below departments offering advisement services. Check back for additional departments to be added.

AES/PHEAA Loan Consolidation

  •  Repay your Loans
After you graduate, drop to a less than half time status, or are no longer enrolled in a degree seeking program, repayment will begin after your six month deferment period ends. Visit www.studentloans.gov to learn more about the payment plans, payment deferment, and payment forbearance options that are available to you.
  • Loan Servicer/Direct Loan Consolidation
A loan servicer is a company that handles the billing and other services on your federal student loan. Your loan is assigned to a loan servicer by the U.S. Department of Education after your entire loan amount is disbursed (paid out). The loan servicer will work with you on repayment plans, loan consolidation and will assist you with other tasks related to your federal student loan. It is important to maintain contact with your loan servicer. If your circumstances change at any time during your repayment period, your loan servicer will be able to help. For more information about loan servicers, visit the Federal Student Aid Loan Servicer page. For more information about direct loan consolidation, visit the Federal Student Aid consolidation page.
