Registration:

Registration is required for all events unless otherwise noted and will be coming soon. This year we will be instating a new Priority Registration. Registrations placed before Monday, August 15, 2022, will receive a discounted registration rate. The final deadline for registration is Friday, September 2, 2022. 

No refunds will be processed past September 5.

  • 9:30 a.m.- 12:00 noon: Family Day Check-In, Haupert Union Building Kiosk
  • 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.: Career Readiness Sessions, Various locations see below for details
  • 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.: State of the University Address by President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90, P’22, P’26, Prosser Auditorium Haupert Union Building
  • 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m.: Tailgate Lunch, Academic Quad
  • 12:00 noon: Greyhound Soccer vs. Widener University Lions, Makuvek Field
  • 1:00 p.m.: Greyhound Football vs. Gettysburg College Bullets, Rocco Calvo Field
  • 4:00 p.m.: The Betty Aierstock Moore Piano Concert, Peter Hall, Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus
  • 5:15 p.m.: The Zinzendorf Family Fellows Cocktail Reception, Foy Patio, Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus

Family Day Check-In

9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Haupert Union Building Kiosk

Check-in for the day and enjoy a light continental breakfast and a chance to mix and mingle with fellow Hound families.

 

Career Readiness Sessions

10:00 a.m - 10:45 a.m. 

Getting Started: Supporting Your Student's Career Exploration (for First Year and Sophomore Families)
Prosser Auditorium

  • Families will meet with Career Development Strategists from The Center for Career & Civic Engagement to learn more about how students can engage with their Strategist and Career Readiness Digital Badging. How does the Center for Career & Civic Engagement work with first-year students and sophomores? How can students qualify for the Career Promise? What is the parent’s role?

Taking the Next Step: Preparing for Life After Graduation (for Junior & Senior Families)
PPHAC 102

  • Families will have an opportunity to meet with Kathleen Barr, Director of Career Development, to talk about internships, job searching, networking events, and how to best support your student. Learn where alumni have gone and important steps your students should be taking as they prepare for their future.

State of the University Address by President Dr. Bryon L. Grigsby ’90, P’22, P’26

Moravian’s President, Bryon L. Grigsby ’90, P’22, P’26 will present the State of the University Address with updates on current Moravian happenings and what’s in store in the near future. Stream here at 11:00 a.m.

 

Tailgate Lunch

12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m.
Academic Quad

Enjoy a tailgate-style lunch and fun lawn games for the whole family. In addition, there will be representatives from our academic and administrative offices available throughout the Academic Quad lawn area to answer questions about the variety of services their offices provide to students.

Join us at Makuvek Field and watch as the Greyhounds take on the Widener University Lions.

 

Greyhound Football vs. Gettysburg College Bullets

Join us at Rocco Calvo Field and watch as the Greyhounds take on the Gettysburg College Bullets. 
Students +2 tickets are free. Additional tickets can be purchased here.

You will receive your football tickets electronically by Thursday, September 8.

 

The Betty Aierstock Moore Piano Concert

4:00 p.m.

This program will feature a performance by Dr. Arianna Goldina, a classical Steinway artist.

 

The Zinzendorf Family Fellows Cocktail Reception - By Invitation Only

Families who are Zinzendorf Family Fellows (ZFF), our newly established family giving society, are invited to enjoy a cocktail reception with President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90, P’22, P’26 on Foy Patio.
