The Emerging Leader Award is presented to an alumna or alumnus who graduated within the last ten years, for his or her leadership and dedicated service to Moravian College. The Alumni Association gratefully acknowledges the contributions of Jaime L. Marks for her exemplary service to Moravian with its 2009 Emerging Leader Award.

Jaime L. Marks ’04 graduated summa cum laude with Honors in psychology from Moravian College and received her master’s degree in human development and family studies from the Pennsylvania State University. While a student at Moravian, she served as vice president and then president of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society. She established “Psi Chi Week” on campus to raise awareness of the field of psychology. She was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership society, and was elected treasurer of Sigma Sigma Sigma national sorority.  In athletics she excelled as a varsity member of the Moravian cross country and track and field teams. In track, she earned an NCAA Division III All-American title. Jaime continues to aid the College as a member of the Alumni Board and serves as the chair of the newly established Lifelong Learning Committee.  This committee launches enriching educational activities for alumni and students.  Jaime is employed as a senior associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she assists clients in the field of health care marketing. She resides in Newtown, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Brian Corvino ’02. Jaime uses her free time to participate in distance running, and completed both the New York City and Boston Marathons
