2026 Young Alumni Achievement Award

Emily R. Reiter ’19

The Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes a young alum (graduated within the past two to ten years) who has achieved exceptional success in their profession

Community isn’t just important to Emily R. Reiter ’19—it’s at the center of everything she does. The Easton native has distinguished herself as a topperforming agent within a global brokerage of more than 23,000 professionals while earning a reputation for her unwavering commitment to the Lehigh Valley.

“I remain deeply connected to the Lehigh Valley, an extension of the service-driven values instilled during my Moravian journey,” Emily says.

Emily graduated valedictorian from Wilson Area High School and brought her academic drive to Moravian, where she excelled across disciplines. She was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma, Gamma Sigma Alpha, and Omicron Delta Epsilon honor societies and earned the ITA Scholar-Athlete Award for her outstanding academic achievements.

“Moravian’s emphasis on critical thinking, communication, leadership, and community engagement shaped my professional approach and laid the groundwork for a career centered on problem solving and relationship building,” says Emily.

A double major in mathematics and economics, Emily developed a strong analytical and strategic foundation that continues to guide her work today. She gained hands-on experience in investing through the Amrhein Investment Club and explored career options through multiple internships, one of which proved pivotal. Emily’s internship with Wolf Insurance Agency in Nazareth sparked an unexpected passion for the insurance industry, leading her to join the agency as a sales agent after graduation in 2019.

In 2020, Emily advanced her career as an executive producer at Brown & Brown Insurance Services, Inc., one of the world’s largest insurance brokerages. At Brown & Brown, Emily focuses on delivering integrated insurance and risk management solutions to clients across the tri-state region and throughout the country, including Delaware, North Carolina, and Louisiana.

Driven by continuous learning, Emily earned the Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2022 and expanded her credential with licenses in health, life, accident, and related insurance lines, allowing her to support clients through a comprehensive strategic approach. Emily’s performance quickly garnered recognition. Emily was recognized as  a “Top 250 Producer” and earned Brown & Brown’s Tangle B Silver Award for outstanding organic book growth among the company’s top producers nationwide.

In 2025, Emily was promoted to vice president in recognition of her strong client relationships, consistent results, and meaningful contributions to the organization. She now specializes in commercial property and casualty insurance, with a particular focus on the health and human services sector.

Emily’s professional accomplishments are matched by her commitment to community engagement.

“I’m passionate about serving social service and nonprofit organizations, bridging my two core values—business and impact,” she says.

She serves as a board member and secretary for Developmental Education Services of Monroe County, supporting essential programs for adults with intellectual disabilities. Emily is also chair of the Easton Chamber of Commerce, where she works to strengthen the economic and civic vitality of Easton and the greater Lehigh Valley. Her leadership and community impact were recently recognized in Lehigh Valley Style magazine’s “Faces of the Lehigh Valley,” which highlights professionals making a difference in the region. Most recently, Lehigh Valley Business named Emily a “Woman to Watch,” honoring her as one of the region’s emerging leaders making a significant professional and community impact.

With remarkable professional success and an unwavering dedication to service, Emily exemplifies the leadership, innovation, and community spirit that define Moravian’s alumni. Her story reflects both the impact she is making today and the promise of what lies ahead.
