• Plan Ahead -  Plan ahead, figure out what you need to get through the day. If you are going on a trip or working alone, have everything you need with you.
• Stay Alert -  Be aware of your surroundings, know where you are going, and take necessary safety precautions if you are alone.
• Exit Strategy - Know how to get out of a building during an emergency or in a hostile situation.
• Call for Help - Always call for help whenever you are in an emergency situation.
