InFocus: Sustainability Co-Directors
Alison Holliday
Dr. Holliday's research explores the use of chemical separations to analyze environmental and biological systems. As part of this, she determines concentrations of chemicals in the environment and also develops methods to see how proteins fold in the body. She is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry and is also a member of the Environmental Studies and Sciences faculty. As Co-Director of the Sustainability Center of Investigation at Moravian College, she coordinates interdisciplinary initiatives related to communicating sustainability and to environmental justice.
Theresa Dougal
Dr. Dougal’s recent work involves pedagogical research within the environmental humanities. Her teaching and scholarship has an interdisciplinary component evident in courses addressing the moral life and environmental sustainability. She is a Professor of English whose emphasis is American and British literature of the early nineteenth century and, as Co-Director of the Sustainability Center of Investigation at Moravian College, she coordinates interdisciplinary initiatives related to communicating sustainability and to environmental justice.
