2026 Young Alumni Achievement Award

John William Dadouris, DMD ’20

The Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes a young alum (graduated within the past two to ten years) who has achieved exceptional success in their profession.

John William (Will) Dadouris, DMD ’20 has built  an early career defined by leadership, service, and  impact. He credits Moravian University with shaping  both his path in dentistry and his lifelong commitment  to philanthropy.

“Moravian’s mindset of being a little revolutionary was  and always will be in the back of my mind,” says Will.

At Moravian, Will embodied that spirit through academic excellence, campus leadership, and athletics. He graduated magna cum laude in just three years as a biology major with a minor in economics, while serving on the discipline review committee and the Student Athlete Advisory Council. He was also inducted into multiple honor societies recognizing leadership, academics, and athletics.

A member of the men’s lacrosse team, Will earned Landmark Conference  academic honors and was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team, reflecting  the same work ethic and character that would later define his professional career.

At Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Will continued to distinguish himself, earning the American College of Dentists Outstanding Achievement Award, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award, and the Chesky Kleiner Humanitarian Award. He now practices in New Jersey, where he helps grow his family’s dental office while focusing on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Will’s commitment to service began long before dental school. At age 14, while preparing for a service trip to Jamaica with The Lacrosse Volunteer Corps, he was asked to collect used lacrosse equipment to donate. What began as a small effort quickly grew into something much larger, eventually inspiring him to found ReLax Collections, a nonprofit dedicated to collecting and redistributing lacrosse equipment to youth programs and organizations locally and around the world.

Since 2014, ReLax has distributed more than $5 million worth of new and used equipment, supported over 100 teams in more than 25 countries, and kept nearly 100 cubic yards of gear out of landfills. Through partnerships with mission-aligned organizations, including Bombas, ReLax has expanded its reach even further, helping deliver both equipment and essential items to communities in need.

Whether through dentistry or philanthropy, Will continues to reflect Moravian’s spirit through innovation, compassion, and action, creating meaningful impact in his profession and in communities around the world.
