Application Requirements
- Evidence of completion of a master’s degree or higher in a health-related field or allied health profession from an accredited institution of higher education in the United States.
- Evidence of a minimum of three years working in the health-related area of specialty, licensure, or certification, as applicable.
- Recommendation form completed by two professional references
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions
- A completed application form specific to the DSc in Health Sciences program
Note: Successful submission of the above elements is not a guarantee that the application will result in an acceptance to the program.

- Copy of licence or certification (where applicable)
International students are welcome and encouraged to apply. Please note that students are responsible for securing their own valid and legal travel documentation for our summer residencies, as Moravian University does not provide visa sponsorship for this program.
Transfer Credit Policy
We accept up to six credits (10% of the degree) of graduate work related to content of the DSc in Health Sciences. Transcripts and syllabi for these courses must be submitted and will be reviewed by the DSc program director. Transfer credits will not be awarded for the on-demand course, DSHS 700.
Retention Requirements
- Maintain a grade of C or better in all required and elective courses and an overall 3.0 GPA. Failure to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher will result in probation for one academic semester. If the student fails to achieve the 3.0 in the following semester, it will result in dismissal from the DSc in Health Sciences program.
- Complete all graduation requirements within seven years, starting from your admission date to the DSc in Health Sciences program
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the DSHS Handbook.
