2023

Keith Quelet released a new album of original songs. He met with Pastor Bob Rapp (Christ UCC) who heads the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter Project. He offered him music to promote awareness of how BES provides food and housing to the homeless of the Lehigh Valley. He is seeking opportunities in area schools to write an original song with students, as a means of addressing the particular mental health challenges many students face post-pandemic. Pastor Rapp expressed an interest to partner in his outreach to school students in our area.

February 2021

James Giovanni passed away on February 13, 2021.

August 2020

Scott Morro's book, The Washington Pursuit, is coming out on August 25. Many Moravian sites and downtown Bethlehem locations are included in the novel. It is a tale of George Washington in revolutionary Bethlehem in 1777. The Sun Inn will be hosting a “Washington Pursuit” walking tour on September 12. Scott will be conducting a tour of the book’s path through historic Bethlehem and signing books afterwards at the Sun Inn where the trail in the story begins.

Somerville attorney Britt Simon, Esq. was approved as municipal public defender at the Bridgewater Township council meeting.

October 2019

Edward Protzman was named the recipient of the 2019 George N. Parks Award from NAfME and Music for All.

The Bakervins (Sarah "Sally" Kervin and John Baker, III) recently moved from Baltimore City to Baltimore County. John has been working as a commercial illustrator for 14 years, and Sally has her own dog walking business, aptly named after her cat, Widget. Henry, their son, is a fourth grader at Rodgers Forge Elementary School in Rodgers Forge, Baltimore County.
