2009 Classnotes

February 2022

On Election Day 2021, Jason DeStefano was elected to serve on Wayne Township New Jersey's Town Council. He was sworn into office on January 1st 2022 to begin his four year term. Jason was joined by friends and family while his sons held the bible for his swearing in. Jason looks forward to serving his community over the next four years. Jason's interest in politics grew exponentially after serving as a USG Senator and Vice President during his time at Moravian.

December 2021

Scott Hettinger was hired as an Asset Manager for The Phoenix Forge Group in August, 2021.

July 2020

Jose Tavares, Jr. celebrates 10 years of service with the United States Central Intelligence Agency. He was recruited for the agency and accepted his position shortly after completing his degree at Moravian. He is currently pursuing a doctoral study via distance learning.

June 2020

Sarah Lucci Stine was married on January 4, 2020 to Justin Stine, originally of Okawville, Illinois. The couple lives and works in the Lehigh Valley. Sarah is a teacher, and Justin works in sports data and analytics. The reception was held at Hotel Bethlehem, and many Moravian graduates were on hand for special pictures at Comenius Hall and the hotel. The bridal party included groomsman Rey Benschop '13, bridesmaid Jessica Croll Mason, and musician Sean Mason; their daughter, Makayla Mason, was the flower girl. Other graduates included the bride's grandfather, Harry Lucci '75, cousin Maria Morello '19, colleague Mary Mills Grigoruk '85 and her husband, Mike Grigoruk '85, ZTA pledge sister Kristina Cherrier Corominas, and friends Patrick Sutton and Ruben De La Cruz '14. Many out of state guests commented that their experience in Bethlehem was like stepping into a Hallmark Christmas movie!

January 2020

Kori Burke Rusnock recently joined Dr. Kristen Stone-Mulhern at St. Luke’s Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates. She will provide care for annual exams, women’s health issues, birth control counseling, and prenatal care. Kori completed her nursing education at Moravian University and then spent nearly 10 years as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Luke’s Bethlehem where she supported and cared for women throughout the delivery process, including triage, the operating and recovery rooms, and postpartum. She also worked as a prenatal educator. After her years in labor and delivery, she decided to go back to school to complete her graduate degree as part of the DeSales University Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Sarah Naumes was on The Price is Right Live. She won a shirt.

December 2019

Kristin Staunton Pucilowski and Andrew got married on June 16, 2019 on the bay in Long Beach Island. Pictured are fellow Moravian Greyhounds Victoria Bartkus, Revé Anderko, Matthew Velekei, and Carly Lovejoy. Kristin and Andrew bought a house in Butler, NJ in 2017 and have been taking on many DIY projects on the house ever since. She is teaching special education resource language arts for grades 5-8 in Cedar Grove and will be obtaining a master's degree in special education at William Paterson University in May.

September 2019

Sarah Naumes has accepted a position working as a Research Development Officer with the University of California, Merced.

Revé Anderko-Vorsky and CPT Dan Vorsky were married on August 31, 2019 in Bethlehem, PA. The fellow Greyhounds celebrated with them on this special day-- Kara Johnson Grimes '11, Gary Grimes '10, Alicia Abbuhl Gohdes, Dan Gohdes, Esq. '07, Kristin Staunton Pucilowiski, Heather Friedel Hosfeld, Esq. '92, Matt Hosfeld '91, Mary Yanno Abbuhl '78, David Abbuhl, Esq.
