Jennifer Jiménez welcomed her first grandchild, Isabella Rose Lassiter, on April 22, 2020.
Shane Burcaw ’14 and his fiancée, Hannah Aylward, visited Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois, on November 4 to talk about disability and inclusivity. Burcaw, author of Laughing at My Nightmare, Not So Different: What You Really Want to Ask About Having a Disability, and Strangers Assume My Girlfriend is My Nurse, lives with spinal muscular atrophy. In 2011, he launched his blog, “Laughing at My Nightmare,” and uses humor to address his struggles. His fiancée and he have a YouTube channel called “Squirmy and Grubs,” showing their lives as an interabled couple. Burcaw also started a nonprofit organization with his cousin to help those living with muscular atrophy.
Briana Newman '14, S'16 graduated from Moravian College in 2014 and went on to receive her Master's in Clinical Counseling from MTS in 2016.
