Becoming a PASS Leader

Update: All tutoring has shifted to Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS). The Academic Support Office is currently not hiring tutors, however you can contact the Coordinator for Tutoring and Academic Support for PASS consideration. 

If you are interested in becoming a PASS Leader, please take note of the following guidelines before applying:

  • You must have earned at least a B+ in the course that you wish to tutor.
  • A GPA of at least 3.00 is recommended.
  • A faculty nomination is necessary for the course you are interested in working as PASS Leader. Once you have received this nomination, semesterly Faculty/Coordinator approval is necessary for your continued work as a PASS Leader in that course.
  • You must take the PASS Leader Practicum course during your first semester as a PASS Leader.
