Qualifying Life Event- Birth or Adoption of a Child

Changes in your dependent status may require some updates to your employee record and benefits.

Life Insurance - If you are enrolled in this benefit, you may want to update your beneficiary information.

Flex Accounts, Health, Dental, or Vision Plans – A new dependent is a qualifying life status change and allows you to add your dependent or change your enrollment in these plans. Please use the Benefit SOP in order to submit a qualifying life event.

Requirements for health insurance (once received):

• Social security number - just the number is fine, please give HR a call
• Birth certificate - Please submit in Oracle under the Me tab--> Document Records. Please email madisone@moravian.edu after you have done so.
