Douglas Anderson Prize in Philosophy

The Douglas Anderson Prize in Philosophy is a $200 prize awarded to a graduating Philosophy major(s) who, in the judgment of the Department of Philosophy, has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the study of philosophy and outstanding service and leadership within the Department of Philosophy.

The Fredrick (Jiggs) McConnell Prize in Moral Philosophy is awarded to a graduating senior who, in the judgment of the Department of Philosophy, has demonstrated excellence in Moral Philosophy.

Academic Excellence Award in Philosophy

The Academic Excellence Award in Philosophy is awarded to senior philosophy majors who, in the judgment of the Department of Philosophy, have demonstrated excellence in philosophical thinking throughout their four years at Moravian College.

Exceptional Promise in Philosophy Award

Exceptional Promise in Philosophy Award is awarded to non-majors who show exceptional promise in philosophy on the basis of their achievements in their philosophy courses.
