Art Library – Art Office

The Art Library is located in the lobby of the Art Department Office area. There is a large rack containing many art-related periodicals. Included are many graphic and interactive design publications, photography magazines, and gallery and museum publications. Art Education magazines and publications are also available. Studio art publications are also available representing a wide variety of media and techniques.  Current copies, as well as many back issues, of art-related magazines are available for check-out by students, faculty, and staff. To check out a magazine, fill out the appropriate information on the clipboard located on the shelving unit. Back issues are available by lifting the shelf where the magazine is located.

The art library also contains a large number of books available for check-out.  A special section is devoted to books for students in advanced studio classes.  There is also a large selection of books on graphic design, typography, poster design, and other design-related topics. 

Thanks to a donation, we have a complete set of the Time-Life “World of Art” art history series available for check-out. Visit the Art Library to see what is available – more books and periodicals are regularly added!
