During this Supreme Court term, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy is on the docket. Moravian College, along with 165 other colleges and universities, joined an amicus brief "urging" the Court to protect DACA. PBS39 News Tonight speaks with Moravian's president to learn why he's defending DACA.
Born and raised in Bethlehem, Reisteter is a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, earned a degree in music education from Lebanon Valley College and a master’s degree in theory and composition from Ohio University. He has played in the Allentown Band for a remarkable 35 years, the Allentown Symphony Orchestra for 32 years, and is on music faculty at Moravian College.
This fall, Geary and the student government are working to install door viewers — also known as peep holes and similar to ones that hotel rooms and apartments have. The long-term goal is for every dormitory to have one, but for now, about 70 door viewers have been placed in a freshman hall. The purpose is to allow students to see who is knocking on their door before opening it to someone who could be harmful.

Moravian College announced it has been ranked #136 in the U.S. News & World Report 2020 rankings of National Liberal Arts Colleges and #60 in Top Performers on Social Mobility.
Founded in 1995, the NAC&U includes institutions with similar missions and helps member schools create partnerships and collaborations which, according to the NAC&U website, “enrich faculty work and improve student outcomes.”
Moravian College announced that it will offer new Graduate-level nursing programs to address the growing market need for experienced and qualified nursing professionals.
Students who carry three or more course units during the fall or spring term and attain a GPA for the term of 3.50 or higher are placed on the Dean’s Honor List.
The ceremony on May 11 concluded the 277th academic year at Moravian. Moravian College President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90 conferred degrees to 538 bachelor degree candidates and 96 graduate degree candidates.
