Vespers in the 21st Century

The Moravian University Christmas Vesper Service has come a long way since it began as a small gathering of students, faculty and staff in the Peter Hall in 1895. It has grown with the school over the years and has gone from being an intimate one evening event to being a six night spectacle with a choir, band, ushers and candle servers. And although the hymns sang and the persons involved may change from year to year, the tradition of bringing the entire school together for a moving service to celebrate the coming of Christ, still remains the same.
