Open Enrollment
November 17-23, 2025 is Moravian University's Open Enrollment Period. Open Enrollment provides employees with the opportunity to enroll in health, dental, vision or flexible spending plans. Enrollment during Open Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2026.
Important Dates
- November 17-23, 2025: Open Enrollment Period
- November 17-21, 2025: Benefits Fair
- November 23, 2025: Deadline to submit Open Enrollment changes
- January 1, 2026: The effective date of your selections during Open Enrollment
Enrollment Process
Your current enrollment, will continue as-is if you do nothing. Please log in to the HR Portal during the Open Enrollment Period to make a change.
Is action required by you? The answer is YES if you want to...
- Enroll in any of the following plans: health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA
- Switch plans (health, dental or vision)
- Cancel coverage (health, dental or vision)
- Add dependent/ spouse/ domestic partner (health, dental or vision)
- Change your annual HSA or FSA contribution

Adding someone new to your plan? Upload to Oracle "Document Records" section under "Benefits" or follow the prompts under "pending action items" after making election changes:
- Copy(ies) of the applicable (health insurance only):
- marriage license or certificate, certificate of domestic partnership
- birth certificate, adoption agreement, or legal guardianship
- Social security number (card not needed) and date of birth (health, dental or vision)

Log in to the online HR Portal to access the Open Enrollment wizard (November 17–23).

Summary of Changes and Similarities
- Continuing to offer the Traditional PPO and Qualified High Deductible Plan (QHDHP)
- Continued access to the Blue’s networks
- Two insurance cards: one for medical (New QHDHP cards will be mailed) and a NEW prescription card with prescription carrier OptumRx
- Increase in semi-monthly deductions
- Introduction of co-insurance to our QHDHP plan
- Increase of co-insurance to our PPO plan
- Increase in deductible for the QHDHP due to the IRS minimum increasing
- Introduction of Co-Pay for GLP-1 drugs for weight loss including (Zepbound, Wegovy, Saxenda, Contrave and Qysmia)
- Continuing with National BlueCard Program through Capital BlueCross, offering savings on healthcare benefits when traveling across the country and internationally
- Slight increase to dental plan rates
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- HSA contributions by Moravian (to those enrolling or re-enrolling in the QHDHP):
- $750 - single QHDHP coverage
- $1500 - 2 person or family QHDHP coverage
- HSA contributions by Moravian (to those enrolling or re-enrolling in the QHDHP):
