Moravian University offers two health insurance plans to benefits-eligible employees, spouse/ domestic partner and/ or eligible dependents. 2024 plans are effective 1/1/2024 - 12/31/2024.

RxBenefits will be our new prescription carrier for 2024. We have made the decision to change carriers due to the enhanced customer care team with RxBenefits as well as their partnership with Express Scripts, one of the largest pharmacy providers.
What to Expect:
- Effective January 1, 2024, your pharmacy coverage with Express Scripts will be administered by RxBenefits
- As part of your new pharmacy benefits plan, you will receive:
- New Pharmacy ID card
- Prescription Drug Coverage Statement High-Touch Service
- Access to Express-Scripts.com to review medication tiers, drug pricing, local pharmacies, plan details, and ways to maximize benefits. New members will need to create an account.
- Specialty medications are covered when purchased through Express Scripts’ Specialty Pharmacy, known as Accredo.
- Members currently using a specialty medication should expect to have their information transfer, requiring no action on their part to have these filled by Accredo beginning on January 1, 2024.
- Mail order Prescriptions will be provided by Express Scripts Home Delivery.
- If you currently utilize MagellanRx for mail order prescriptions, active prescriptions with refills remaining will be transferred by MagellanRx to Express Scripts.
