Types of Aid

The Office of Financial Aid Services at Moravian University carefully reviews each student’s financial aid application and financial circumstances in order to prepare and provide a personalized Financial Aid Offer.

Below are various types of financial aid resources available to students:

Scholarships & Grants

Moravian University awards a variety of scholarships and grants to undergraduate students based on merit or financial need demonstrated on their annual FAFSA.

Student Loans

Student loans are a form of self-help aid that students can use to bridge the gap between the Cost of Attendance and the gift-aid that they have been offered.

Student Employment Program (Work-Study)

All students are welcome (and encouraged) to participate in Moravian’s Student Employment Program by getting a job on campus.

Mo’s Fund

Mo’s Fund aims to provide one-time financial support to Moravian University students who are experiencing financial hardship.

Yellow Ribbon Program

Moravian University is proud to be a partner institution with the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Scholarships from Outside Sources

Gift aid (grants and scholarships, or "free money") from outside (an external provider) sources can be a great way to help pay for your education.
